Travels after becoming an adult, of which I have a more concrete memory 🙂Â
2011
- March- Steamboat Springs, Colorado with my then boyfriend (who now happens to be my husband)
- May/June-Study abroad in Florence, with day trips to Rome, Venice, Tuscany, the Cinque Terre and Parma, Italy- I credit this trip with jump starting my passion to travel the world.
- July- Mackinac Island, Michigan
- August- Tampa, Florida for a family wedding
2012
- January- New York City
- June- London, Guernsey, Paris, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, and Brussels, Belgium- the first of many trips I would plan on my own
- August- Seattle, Washington and Northern Idaho to visit family
- December- Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and San Diego, California (with an engagement on Point Mugu Beach)
2013– a little weak on the travel front due to me being in grad school and my husband being in medical school
- March- Washington, D.C
2014– now officially married and a working adult!
- June/July- Honeymoon to the Canadian Rockies, Vancouver and Alaska via a cruise through the Inside Passage
2015
- July- Nashville, Tennessee- a husband still in medical school and a new job can really limit the time/money available to travel
2016
- May/June- Dream trip warning! Mediterranean cruise to Italy, Greece and Turkey with pre-cruise travels to Rome, Florence and the Cinque Terre
- September- San Francisco, Napa/Sonoma Valley and Yosemite National Park
2017
- February/March- Steamboat Springs and Denver, Colorado
- May- Lima, Cusco, and Machu Picchu, Peru
- June- Myrtle Beach for a wedding
- June- Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City, Michigan
- July- Milwaukee, Door County, Wisconsin and Starved Rock State Park, Illinois
- September- Canadian Rockies (Banff, Jasper and Yoho National Parks)
- October- Savannah, Georgia
- October- Nashville, Tennessee for a wedding
- December- back to Guernsey for a wedding
